COVID-19 Navajo Business Dialogues: Tourism

What are the most important issues that Navajo business owners operating in the tourism sector face?
What resources and supports exist for Navajo tourism operators?
What are the short- and long-term challenges facing the Navajo tourism sector?
What business support is available and needed for Navajo tourism businesses?

Join Change Labs and the Navajo Nation Division of Economic Development for an important dialogue between Navajo business owners, elected leaders, and government officials on how COVID-19 has impacted the business environment on the Navajo Nation.

This dialogue is focused on Navajo tourism. We'll start with an overview of the research conducted by Change Labs, Causal Design, and Navajo DED on the economic impact of COVID-19 on Navajo small businesses and then hear directly from Navajo business owners who've worked to keep their business open throughout the pandemic. There will be time for questions from the audience as well as time to hear your thoughts and ideas on how Navajo American Rescue Plan funding could be used to support the Navajo business community.
