Expert Tips On Buying and Selling a Business

A successful small business is almost always the single most valuable asset an entrepreneur possesses. However, estimates are that some 80% of small businesses never get sold on, but finally close their doors on the death, incapacity or disinterest of their owners.

If you don’t want to be one of the 80%, this seminar is for you! Whether you’re a business owner, related to an owner, a prospective business buyer, a CPA with small business clients, or a lawyer whose clients are considering a purchase or sale, this seminar will give you a basic grounding in the principles and process of buying and selling small and medium-sized businesses.

Attendees will learn the basic tools of preparing the business for sale, creating and evaluating marketing documents and information, prospective buyer/seller identification, formulating an offer, communicating an offer, what to look for in preparing for and/or conducting “due diligence” on the business, negotiation, the role of advisors, protecting the parties’ interests in a binding agreement, and the all-important process of bringing the deal to a closing.

Please Be Aware: The webinar will be used for internal and/or public training.
