About Joseph Austin: Joseph Austin (Navajo) is the owner and managing attorney of The Law Office of Joseph Austin, Esq. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Arizona Eller College of Management and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Arizona College of Law, where he also earned a certificate in Indigenous Peoples Law & Policy. Additionally, he obtained a Master of Laws in International Economic Law & Policy.
Joseph serves as an Associate Justice for the Supreme Court of the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation and the Court of Appeals for the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana. He is also the co-founder and CEO of The ACES School, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to teaching Native law and policy.
Known for his tenacious and unwavering advocacy for Indigenous sovereignty, Joseph has earned the nickname “The Wolf of Indian Country.”
