Design Gym: Designing Personas

In this working session you will work with TVW Board Member and Graphic Facilitator Peter Durand on the basic skills and process for working with clients to design “personas.”

At this Workshop

We will explore:

— Why are personas so important to the design process?
— How might we use these to work with clients and teams to create much better products and services?
— What are some tools and frameworks to guide us?
— What are some shortcuts, trade-offs, and downsides to watch for?

Beyond the theory, we will share best practices and tools to improve our facilitator fitness! This workshop is being given by Peter Durand! Peter Durand is an artist, educator, and graphic facilitator based in the USA. He has worked in MG Taylor, EY, and Capgemini DesignShop™ environments since 1995, before he could shave. He founded Alphachimp in 1998 and has been member of The Value Web since 2017, serves on the Board, is volunteer manager for our TVW Learning Community, and now has a grey beard.
